Today while waiting for the legendary Michael Torres to come train with me, I ran a mile in under eight minutes without trying very hard. For an old timer like me, I hope that's not bad.
Unfortunately, it turned out that I only ran 8/9ths of a mile in eight minutes. The indoor track at the ARC is actually 9 laps to a mile, not the 8 to a mile that we thought.

Still! Currently working diligently to publish my guide to the trails of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee (www.hikelookout.org, currently under construction).
